Due to floods and coronavirus, there is no pressure of cattle trucks on Dhaka-Tangail highway

 There is no pressure of cattle trucks on Dhaka-Tangail highway.  Truck drivers and owners are disappointed that they did not get a cow trip for Eid-ul-Adha.  This condition is caused by flood and coronavirus.

 According to Tangail Truck Workers Union, the total number of trucks in the district is 4,200.  But this time there is no truck fare due to floods and coronavirus.

 A picture was seen on the spot on Wednesday (July 29) at the Ashekpur bypass of Tangail Moharak.  Although there are different types of public transport, there is no pressure of cattle trucks. In other years, this time the highway is empty, even though there is a terrible traffic jam due to cattle trucks.  Even when the bus is running, there is not much pressure on the passengers.

 Truck driver Khalil Mia said, "I took two trips to Dhaka at that time before Eid-ul-Adha last year."  Last time I didn't make such a cow trip. I gave up even after getting the trip. Even then I earned 22,000 rupees in two trips.  This time I did not get any cow trip. I didn't get it last time, I don't get it this time.

 Some people, including truck owners Rahman and Mojibar, said that truck owners and drivers have a lot of hope around Eid-ul-Adha.  Now hands on everyone's head.

 Korban Mia, president of the Tangail Truck Workers Union, said cows were not taken on trucks because of the floods in Corona.  Although some trucks get trips, most of the trucks do not get cow tips. The business has collapsed since the beginning of the year due to Corona.  Even then, truck owners, drivers and workers were hoping to earn some money by transporting cows for Eid-ul-Adha. This time that hope also turned to dust.

 Tangail Model Police Sub-Inspector (SI) said.  Farhad Hossain said that not many cattle trucks can be seen on the highway yet.  The pressure of cattle trucks may increase in the coming days. There is not much pressure on the bus.  The highway is empty.
