How to buy metro rail ticket very easily
Dream Metrorail will run with passengers in the capital Dhaka from the last week of this month. Two types of tickets can be used in this electric transport.
The second floor concourse hall of the station has a digital ticket counter. Tickets can be collected from there and from the machines there. In case of single journey, the passenger has to purchase the ticket before every journey.
At the end of the journey, the ticket should be deposited at the automatic door of the station and exit. If the ticket is not submitted, the door will not open, thus the passenger will not be able to exit the station.
For MRT Pass (Permanent Journey) the passenger only needs to buy one ticket. When the balance of the ticket is over, it has to be recharged again. In case of this journey like single journey the ticket does not need to be deposited at the station. Passengers can leave the station by taking the ticket with them.
To purchase a ticket through the ticket vending machine, the passenger must first select the language. Then select whether you want to buy tickets for single or permanent journey. Then the list of passenger's destination will come. The passenger has to select the destination station to which station he/she wants to go. After that the information of how many tickets will be cut should be given.
For single journey a passenger cannot buy more than five tickets in one journey. Then press the OK button and the machine will ask for money. After paying the ticket will be printed. A minimum of 20 taka and a maximum of 1000 taka can be entered in the machine.
Apart from this, there are two other systems for collecting tickets. One can buy tickets through topup and mobile banking such as Bikash, Cash and Rocket. There is also a manual counter for disabled and senior citizens.
