Fakhrul-Abbas has been taken to the DB office

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and the party's National Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas have been taken to the DB office for questioning.

Dhaka Metropolitan Intelligence Police (DB) Chief Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid gave this information on Friday morning.

He said that cocktails and explosives were recovered from inside the BNP office on Wednesday night. Besides, BNP rally tomorrow. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Mirza Abbas have been brought for questioning whether there is any sabotage plan ahead of this gathering. They are being interrogated.

BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed that they were picked up on Thursday night.
