Comedian Ronnie's trachea was burnt due to gas balloon explosion at police event

Comedian Abu Hena Roni's trachea was burnt due to gas balloon explosion at the establishment anniversary of Gazipur Metropolitan Police. He has been kept under close observation in the ICU.

On Saturday (August 17) morning, resident surgeon Dr. Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. SM Ayub Hossain said that Roni's trachea and one ear were burnt. He is not fearless.

He also said that 25 percent of Roni's body was burnt. We have to wait more. Nothing can be said right now.

Earlier, apart from Abu Hena Roni, four others were burnt in the incident on Friday (September 16) night. They have also been admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

Those who were burnt are Abu Hena Roni, Zillur Rahman, Mosharraf Hossain, Rubel Hossain and Imran Hossain.

It is known that on the occasion of the fourth foundation anniversary of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police, a civic conference and a cultural evening were organized at the Police Lines ground. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan was present as the chief guest. On the other hand, before the start of the program, the guests were taken to the opening stage. Several balloons were given to the chief guest. But despite repeated attempts, the balloons did not fly. Later, home minister and other guests inaugurated the program by flying pigeons and moved towards the main stage.

The balloons were then taken behind the opening stage. After a while, an explosion was heard. All the balloons burst behind the opening stage. Five people including comedian Abu Hena Roni, who was sitting next to it, were burnt. Later they were rescued and admitted to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital.
