The father sold the last item and bought a smartphone for his son's online class
All kinds of educational institutions have been leaning towards online classes since Korona. And smartphones have become essential for that class. Everything is going online in the atmosphere of lockdown. So if you don't have a smartphone, you have to stop studying. As a result, the father sold the last money for his children's education.
He sold the last of the family's belongings for 7,000 rupees. Let the cows go, let at least two children study. The incident took place in a volcanic area in Himachal Pradesh, India.
However, after learning from the media about the sale of cows for the education of children, Jwalamukhi MLA Ramesh Dhawala directed BDO and SDM to provide financial assistance to Kuldeep.
According to local media sources in India, Kuldeep Kumar lives in the village of Guma in the volcano. That cow was the source. He earned his living by selling milk. But even more important than that is the education of the children. And you need a smartphone to study online. Despite many attempts, the money could not be raised. So his two children Annu and Dippur sold the cow for 6,000 rupees to continue their education.
Kuldeep's two children Annu is in fourth class and Dippu is in second class. The school repeatedly asked me to buy a smartphone. Kuldeep told the school that he did not have enough money to buy a smartphone. Not even 500 rupees.
But there is no way to take online classes without a phone. Kuldeep did not try to raise money. But no one helped. Applying for a loan did not help. So in the end, the only source of income was selling cows and buying smartphones.
