  Kishoreganj district Pakundia bicycle mechanic's shop has a monthly electricity bill of 26 lakh 59 thousand 114 rupees!  The discussion of this spooky electricity bill is now 'Talk of the Kishoreganj'.


  The bill came from MA Tuhin Kamal's bicycle mechanic's shop at Shimulia Chowrasta Bazar in Patuabhanga Union of the upazila.  The locals were shocked to see such a record of the spooky bill of rural electricity.


  MA Tuhin Kamal told the media that his mechanic's shop used 1 fan and 1 light.  So much so that his moss comes to 200 to 300 rupees.  But in the bill that was issued in July, it is seen that 23 lakh 47 thousand 790 rupees.  Including delay fee, the value of which has been fixed at Tk 28 lakh 59 thousand 114.






  Naimul Hasan, deputy general manager of the local Palli Bidyut Samiti, told the media that the incident was a "data entry mistake".





  Kishoreganj District Rural Electricity Association General Manager Moha.  Abul Kalam Azad told the media that departmental action was being taken against Shamsunnahar, the billing assistant of the O-E office responsible for such a 'great mistake'.  He has already been given notice to show cause.
