 Astronomers say that the new moon of the month of Jilhaj will be clearly visible from the sky of Bangladesh like other countries of the world on Tuesday.  Analyzing the data on the Moon Position website, they say that the year-long debate in Bangladesh about starting Ramadan or Eid on the same day in all Muslim countries has come to an end.  However, the Ministry of Religion says that they will make the decision keeping in mind the emotional feelings of the large population.


 MoonSighting.com, a website that reports the location of the moon with information from NASA, says that on July 20, the moon of the month of Zilhaj will not be seen from anywhere in the world.  However, it will be clear from most countries of the world on July 21.



 Moon sighting.com says that the western countries from Bangladesh will see the moon with the naked eye.  Besides, if the sky is clear, clear moon can be seen from Bangladesh and neighboring countries.


 Analyzing the data from the site, atomic and astronomical scientists say that when the sun sets at an angle of 260 degrees in Bangladesh on July 21, the new moon of the month of Jilhaj will be seen in the western sky at an angle of 293 degrees, 13 degrees north.  They also say that the new moon will last 35 minutes in the sky of Bangladesh.

 The religion secretary says they are not aware of the OIC's decision.  He also said that the date will be decided on Tuesday depending on the sighting of the moon in the sky of Bangladesh.
